Steak with caramelized onions and red wine reduction

We were craving for some meat, so I bought some steaks and cooked them up for dinner. I made an onion and red wine reduction as a side, and cooked some organic broccolini as well.

To cook up a steak dinner for yourself, you'll need some:
beef, sirloin
butter
garlic
onions, sliced into rings
red wine
salt and pepper to taste

Sprinkle salt and pepper onto the steak, and rub in well. Melt butter in a pan add garlic and fry the steak. After a few minutes, check if the meat is searing well. Flip once and let it cook for another few minutes. Once cooked, let it rest, then slice into smaller pieces.

To make the caramelized onions and red wine reduction, melt butter in a pan. Add the onions and once soft, add the red wine. Let it cook down to more than half its amount, and once done, then drizzle over the steak.

Yum yum!
