Baked Truffle Mac and Cheese with Meat Sauce

Been on a crazy streak lately. I keep on forgetting to do stuff while I'm cooking! I was attempting to make truffle mac and cheese, which is relatively easy. But I messed it up by adding uncooked pasta unto the cheese sauce. Duh! I had to fish out the pasta then boil it in water, but of course it already had sauce inside so I had to keep on stirring the pot to make sure that the pasta won't stick and burn. After that was done, I added truffle oil, more cheese, sprinkled bread crumbs on top, then baked it for a few minutes. However, I was convinced that it wasn't cheesy enough. I thought that the best way to remedy this situation was to top it off with meat sauce. So I sauteed some garlic and onions, added ground beef, a can of tomatoes, basil, bay leaf, soy sauce, sugar and salt and pepper.

It was good enough. And Mike commented that it tasted like lasagna. Haha! It was a good tasting mistake then.
