Beef Enoki Rolls

We used to order this dish in Teriyaki Boy. This and Gyu Asupara Maki, which uses asparagus spears instead.

This is a great appetizer, but with a cup of rice, it can serve as an adequate viand for dinner, too!

To make Beef Enoki Rolls, marinate thin slices of beef in a mixture of lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, salt, and  black and cayenne pepper.

Cut the bottom part of the enoki mushrooms and rinse. Be careful not to pull the mushrooms too much apart.

Wrap a bundle of enoki with the beef. You can use toothpicks to secure the rolls.

Melt butter in a pan then add the beef and mushroom rolls. Turn over gently until beef is cooked. This will only take a few seconds!
