Honey Banana Bacon French Toast

The perfect dish to celebrate finally fighting off the flu. Honey Banana Bacon French Toast!

To make this, you'll need:
milk- I used Malt Soy Milk
vanilla bean- Or you can use vanilla extract
honey- You can use maple syrup
bacon- I used Mad Meats bacon. Yum!

Look at those vanilla bean flecks on the bananas!

Slice the bananas and soak them in a mixture of honey, vanilla, and hot water. Bananas should be submerged so they won't turn dark. Set aside.

You can never go wrong with a couple of rashers of Mad Meats bacon!

Chop bacon into bits and let cook in its own fat. Drain and set aside.

In a bowl, beat an egg until frothy then add some milk. Soak bread in the mixture. Flip over to ensure that the bread absorbs the milk really well.

Melt some butter in a pan and add the soaked bread slices. Let one side cook until it's golden brown, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Flip and let the other side cook. Then place in a plate.

Once all the bread is done, place the bananas and its liquid in the pan then some brown sugar. Add the bacon bits to warm them up a bit, then place on top of the french toast.

Drizzle more honey over the bread, bananas and bacon. The messier the better!
